I've realized (belatedly, no doubt) that this is a transition time for my relationship with House fandom. It'll be interesting to see what comes up next.

There are huge swathes of fandom where I don't go. It just suddenly hit me that my corner is so much different than it used to be. Which, duh, but sometimes it takes me a while to absorb things.

Oh, things have definitely changed. There are corners of fandom I used to enjoy in which I no longer feel welcome. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the show, I simply don't participate in the fandom to the degree I used to.

Recently I was searching for a quote from an episode and ran across an old discussion thread from TWOP. I don't even remember what it was about but you, Asynca, Sautomne, and a few other people were discussing whatever it was, and it was awesome, insightful critique and debate. Not that pure fangirling doesn't have it's place, but for a while there we had extremely sharp cookies all hanging around the same place, and the level of discussion was just so amazing.
