I've realized (belatedly, no doubt) that this is a transition time for my relationship with House fandom. It'll be interesting to see what comes up next.

The summer of '06 was kind of golden for H/W, I think. There'd been the Odd Couple arc, and there was so much potential for what could happen post-ketamine. People were willing to explore angst, but there was that underlying "made for each other" feeling about them.

I'm still bopping along, and still enjoying friends who aren't active in House any more; guess this was just a nostalgia day for me.
