Well. The things the kid said in the diner were pure House lines (first meeting and second meeting). I'm surprised Wilson didn't recognize them as House-scripted, but maybe he was drawn in by whatever Beth said.

However, it made me rather puffed up with pride to see my characterization of an eleven-year old influenced by both Wilson and House was not far off the show's writers' version. Heh.

Wilson realizing he'd made a commitment he wasn't ready to keep actually showed his maturity better than anything else in the episode.

I liked the Taub sub-plot and the POTW's character subplot (his medical subplot was annoying).

Number one complaint? TURN ON THE LIGHTS, SHOWRUNNERS!

Number two complaint: UP YOURS, FORD PRODUCT PLACEMENT. A Volvo made sense for Wilson's character; a Ford Taurus does not.
