siriaeve, in which Rodney McKay is -- wait for it -- a wedding planner. It shouldn't work, but it does.

On a totally different subject, once a year, for about two days only, pollen overwhelms me and I get a massive sinus headache. The past two days were when it hit me this year, and this morning as Mr. L was talking to me about it, I had a huge bout of empathy for House.
Not because of the pain (I know this is nowhere close to House's pain), but because of Mr. L's harangue. "You need to learn to manage this better... blah blah... you need to get to the doctor and come up with a strategy for dealing with this... blah blah... it really inconveniences me when you're laid up like this... blah blah blah blah."
The whole time I'm inwardly rolling my eyes and thinking, "It's only two days; it's not as big a deal as you're making out to be; I can deal with it on my own; sheesh, it's not your body; my pain 'incoveniences' you, how nice."
Nothing Mr. L said was wrong, per se, but it annoyed the heck out of me.
And then made me think of House and Wilson.
