1. Re-purposing things makes me immensely happy.
2. I went to not one but two schools with condom-related mascots (Trojans and Jumbos).
3. I can't stand certain foods simply because of their texture.
4. I really want to ask my husband's cousin if I could watch him (the cousin) make out with his boyfriend.
5. One of my earliest memories of having sexual feelings was watching Three's Company at my great-aunt's house. Jack pretending to be gay really revved me up, although I had no idea how to handle those feelings and as a result just sat and watched the show. I didn't realize until recently that that's where my craving for slash started, way, way back then.
6. I like getting trophies and prizes for things I've done well. Sometimes I'd rather have a certificate than a cash bonus.
7. My childhood dream was to be an executive for a large corporation. I'm serious. Isn't that the most boring childhood dream ever? But it shaped how I thought about education, and what I studied in college, and the field I got into after college. None of which have much to do with what I'm doing for work now.
8. Sweet or sour? Sweet, sweet, sweet. Any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
9. I got a scholarship to preschool.
10. After I retire, I'd like to study education administration and open a school.
11. It was really stupid of me not to go into a technical career. I thought I should be "well rounded" but honestly, I'd be happier if I was spending more time with data, analysis, and systems.
12. Finding out about words is one of the most awesome things ever.
13. For myself, I don't really love learning per se, but I love knowing things.
14. The trees are so much easier for me than the forest.
15. Gallup StrengthsFinder is the best, most positive 'personality-typing' system I've ever tried. A lot of my self-dissatisfaction comes from the fact that I'm living in conflict with my strengths (Harmony, Significance, Analytical, etc.) instead of using them.
16. Hearing about other people's happy moments and accomplishments makes me happy. (Though I do roll my eyes at chiseling one's resume into granite.)
