Did the career meme.  LOL this list seems so typical ISTJ.  #15 was my childhood dream.  Seriously.  I was a boring child.*  #19 is the only DO NOT WANT on the list.

4. Project Manager
5. Legal Secretary
6. Management Consultant
7. Operations Research Analyst
8. Professor
9. Money Manager
10. Economic Development Officer
11. Certified Public Accountant
12. Industrial Engineering Tech

14. Research Analyst (Financial)
15. Corporate / Commercial Lawyer
16. Logistics Specialist
17. ESL Teacher
18. Foreign Language Instructor
19. Lobbyist
20. Mathematician

*Mr. Laundry wants everyone to know I am still boring.  Whereas he is not:

7. Interior Decorator
8. Fashion Designer
9. Computer Programmer
10. Cartoonist / Comic Illustrator
11. Venture Capitalist
12. Management Consultant
13. Advertising Copywriter

His actual job came up as #23.

*peers at list* I don't see any category that clearly incorporates your delicious writing of pr0n, how odd!

I took the test and was a bit worried since the only profession that comes even close to my job (#39 Translator) was second last, right above... #40 Magician. :(

There were, in fact, a shocking lack of questions on smut. Hmmm.

Do you like your job? If so, I wouldn't worry where it is on the list. My job title is in my top 20 -- but the job itself doesn't fit how that website defines it.

Was Girl Detective on your list?

Surely lots of people must write smut for a living -- how does the internet keep going otherwise?

I did get Criminologist which is close to Girl Detective! I should not have said that I didn't like "working outdoors in any weather" -- I think a true sleuth must be prepared to follow footprints in the snow even in -40 degree winter weather (sadly a fact of life up here!).

Your career list seems quite staid (and potentially lucrative). You must not have indicated a profound dislike for office- and math-related fields, like I did.

Are you calling me boring? LOLOL My career-related interests are very boring. All the office and math questions got "like very much" from me -- all the outdoors questions got the big thumbs down. Nightdog's list and mine are polar opposites, I think.

I KNOW!! I bet you had too many "like very much" answers for the people questions; that's what pushed these down your list. Your crazy extravert ways!

Let's be Office Managers together, though! I'll write all the policy handbooks and you can plan the office celebrations. YAY!! Then we'll yell at everyone for misuse of company supplies while using most of the office bandwidth on House related sites.

I read Mr. Laundry's #11 as 'vampire capitalist', for some reason :D

You're an Industrial Engineering Tech, aren't you? ;P

My #13 was Disc Jockey, which I found highly amusing since I would absolutely hate that job!

I can't help thinking that if 'Internet Pr0n Writer' was in their database it would crop up in all our lists...

We took one of those tests in High School -- the Minnesota xxx Aptitude xxx. The only thing I remember is that #2 for me was "teaching sister." Not teacher, teaching sister. And I'm Jewish so I guess step one to achieving that would be "convert."
