OK, so if you write enough fanfic, you're bound to predict things that come up in canon.  I realized today that rivers_bendand I last August foresaw a trait of House's that was revealed in ep 3-22 : 

His dislike for tea!  We even had the flavor half-right (we had peppermint/chamomile).  Too funny.  See here for proof of our prescience:  Tension and Release

I was going to joke about OT3, but it's not much of a joke at this point. There are so many signs and arrows... Wouldn't having a threesome be canon in a major TV drama be COOL?

For Pirates of the Caribbean, I said that Jack's broken compass pointed to where you wanted to go; in the movie, it points to what you want most in the world. Close enough.

The closest I can think of is that the week I posted fic where Chase asks Cameron out (platonically) as it snowed outside the hospital, the microwave conversation took place.

Also, I wrote a House fic in which dinosaurs took no small part, and in Act Your Age House read about pterodactyls (http://uarazy2.livejournal.com/80058.html#cutid1) terrorizing citizens, which I totally flailed about in my journal.

And oh, wait, my Scrubs fic! For yuletide I wrote a Scrubs fic which was both a musical and featured Cox acting like House. I had the ideas and wrote most of the fic before I even heard that Scrubs was going to make the episodes My Musical and My House.

Seriously, there's nothing like noticing these small, insignificant details on a show and recognizing it from one of your fics. You just get a huge kick out of it, and know no one else will even notice, but you'll dance your happy dance just the same.

OMG, the first is freaky! I do love recognizing these details. Another little one for me was I did a post-ep for 3-18, in which Wilson notes that "The bits of strength, love, pride, esteem that he's got all are sucked into the vortex" of House, and then in 3-20 Wilson says he doesn't want to be "sucked into House's vortex of insanity."

WOOT!

Now if we get House/Wilson canon my life will be complete. Hee.

I wrote a story where Cameron instigated a friends-with-benefits (sort of) relationship with Chase.

Although in my version, nobody was mean or angsty and fun was had by all. :-)

I can't remember what episode it was, but House mentioned white willow bark as a substitute/precursor for aspirin.

And I beamed because Gregorius had obviously shown up. Although this is probably more meta than prescience. Heh.

I always talk about my fan fiction as akin to 'poking the characters with a sharp stick' and seeing what happens. I loved it when Wilson used the same phrase to Cuddy in that episode where House decks Chase.

I always said I wanted to see House locked up - and bing a bam a boom it happened. I am now sending psychic vibes to the writers that I want to see House dressed up neatly, clean shaven and wearing a bow tie - maybe a bet or a weird dream/flashback episode (like the story Bloodlines that is set during the Civil War).

And of course Contract foresaw the coming of the all-powerful figure out to get House who didn't need to follow any of the known laws (aka Tritter).

We have seen House dressed neatly with bow tie (All In) but he wasn't clean shaven. Maybe add a straw boater, too; that'd be fun.

As I tend to write MSTs and crack, there's less of a likelihood that anything I write will turn into canon, but it would be highly entertaining if Wilson came out and he and House ended up making out in Cuddy's office (since I suspect that Fox wouldn't like it if they had sex on her desk, alas).

Or Wilson could temporarily turn into a kitten...
