There were many great moments in 3-21 Family.  But I have a question.

STEPHBASS, CAN YOU EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THE PRODUCERS OF HOUSE CAN'T PICK A LIGHTING SCHEME AND STICK WITH IT?  FOR PETE'S SAKE, WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?  AND SPEAKING OF "UP" WERE ALL THE CAMERAPEOPLE LITTLE PEOPLE THIS TIME?  CAMERA ANGLES, 'SPLAIN THEM TO ME, PLEASE.

Everyone else feel free to revel in the H/W.  (Although Wilson was edging back toward frumpy again [LIGHTING PEOPLE, AND HAIR PEOPLE, I BLAME YOU!] and the crack that left Wilson gape-mouthed was uncalled for.)

I need to listen to that again...it seemed like one of those "House-is-berating-Wilson-for-one-thing-but-really-he's-hurt-about-another-
thing" kind of thing. If you understand that at all. *g* It seemed very meta-worthy.

Although Wilson was edging back toward frumpy again
It was weird...there were a lot of shots where he looked very pretty (the beginning sticks in my mind) and others were unflattering.

I haven't cared for the lighting this season at all.

On the lighting, I want them to pick one scheme (one that makes Wilson look good, e.g., the one from 4-20) and stick with it. Grr. If ER and Law & Order can do it for a billion seasons, House can do it.

Someone pointed out the brown jacket/purple tie combo contributed to Wilson's frumpiness factor too. And now that I think about it, they did something different with his makeup. The mole near RSL's mouth (yum) usually isn't that dark.

Last comment on costuming and then I will stop: in the scene in Cuddy's office a combination of the cut of Wilson's lab coat and the position he was standing (leaning) in totally made him look womanly. Sexy womanly, with a trim waste and va-voom hips, but still womanly. HA! (And why does Cuddy have "Sewing and Notions" magazine in her office?)

The "coward" remark?

Yeah, I just made a very short post about that. Whatever else Wilson is? He's not that.

A low and cheap shot. And I think House was popping more Vicodin in this episode, although Mr. Nightdog said he thought he spotted a scene in which HL forgot to limp. Hee!

House is known to make low and cheap shots on occasion, though. Just because the target doesn't deserve it, doesn't mean House won't say it.

Especially when he's very, very frustrated, as he was in that particular scene. House himself knew it wasn't really true, or fair, or called for. Wilson was just the nearest available target for his anger.

Cheap shot, indeed. Poor Wilson's crushed face. He got his back a bit with the muttered "You're pathetic" - so junior high, hee.

He needs to burn that brown/tan jacket, though. Not a good look for him.

Forgot to limp! I live for scenes like that, though I didn't spot it this time.

The breaking of the cane and Wilson saying "it wasn't me this time!" was pretty classic. :D

Hee, hee, it was. And then House cracking on Wilson's peen size. Peen jokes, man, they never get old.

Agh. I'm trying to keep away from spoilers, but I just can't help it. They have a hold over me. A hold, I tells you.

The 'coward' remark.
Perhaps there's some sort of subtext to that comment. I, myself, like to think that House was referring to a lot more than Wilson's interaction with the patients. In the past few episode there have been we (and House) learned a lot more about Wilson's relationships. I wonder if House thinks that Wilson is a coward because of the way he handles his relationships (or because of the fact that Wilson is so deep in the closet and refuses to come out.)
