I never post after episodes
Apr. 25th, 2007 10:51 amBUT OMG THAT WAS BLISSFUL
Doris lied to us, that sneaky little goddess!
ETA: Re-posting because HOCKNEY! Read all about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hockney Was Wilson trying to give Cuddy a hint? Oh yes, I think so.
Favorite parts of the episode:
- House ignoring a differential AGAIN to watch Wilson talking with a woman
- House being interested in Wilson/Pool Boy
- Cuddy turning House down for the play
- Wilson pwning that conversation, not letting House know until the end he was taking Cuddy to the art gallery
- Ball gag
- Bicycle pump
- RSL WAS FREAKIN GORGEOUS THIS EP!
- House looking at a condo in Trenton (like an hour away from Princeton)
- Chase being all "Hi, Mr. Foreman!" like he's Eddie Haskell from Leave it to Beaver
- Foreman's mom
- Foreman looking at the answers in his math book
- Wilson coaching Foreman on telling someone they're dying; Foreman being appalled that Wilson has everything down to a system; Wilson's expression of "duh, you gotta" in response
- Wilson asleep in House's chair (OMFG SO CUTE)
- Foreman's crying at the end (much more effective than his crying in Euphoria)
- House being interested in Wilson/Pool Boy
- Cuddy turning House down for the play

- Wilson asleep in House's chair (OMFG SO CUTE)
That whole "keeping House company" scene was absolutely wonderful—right up there with the hallway scene from "Son of Coma Guy." Doris definitely lied to us!

Date: 2007-04-25 06:03 am (UTC)YES. THEY FELT LIKE SUCH A RECONCILED ~COUPLE~ IN THOSE LAST HANDFUL OF BRIEF SCENES. IT WAS VERY COMFORTING TO SEE THEM SHOULDER-TO-SHOULDER DURING THE EMOTIONAL HULLABALOO, WHICH CULMINATED IN THAT EFFECTIVE CRYING OF FORE-MANS.
Great line though which I completely forgot to mention at any point over in h_w comes from Bonnie & House's initial discussion--Bonnie is blabbing on & says to House, regarding Hector "do you think you can talk to James about taking the dog? He's the only one who ever really got along with him..." AAAAAGGGGHHH.
THIS SHIT IS SO CANON IT'S FUCKING FLYING THROUGH THE AIR.

Date: 2007-04-25 06:05 am (UTC)loved the art convo and scenes. So well done. Let's hope Wilson and Cuddy sleep together so that everyone can just ACCEPT that House and Wilson will end up together, god damn it! haha

Date: 2007-04-25 06:16 pm (UTC)I was very impressed by House's attempts at helping Foreman through it, and I loved the Wilson instructions on "how to console the dying" - of course he has it down to a system, he's an oncologist. Poor Foreman.
But the funny bits were all very funny indeed - I did like House looking at the condo - "we're not talking about James, we're talking about the house. Now, what did he do when..." XD
It would be very funny if the dog was a teeny yappy bitey thing, but I can't see Wilson having that kind of dog. Maybe it's big and slobbery instead.
And the gallery was hugely hilarious (I just typed 'hughly'...) especially (as you say) the bicycle pump. It was the way Wilson and Cuddy were leaning over and looking at it that really did it.
Defitely needs a rewatch.

Date: 2007-04-30 04:47 pm (UTC)Also, I love Doris and think she still deserves her sainthood - even though she's a big fat freaking LIAR. It's a good kind of lie though - a lie the other way around would be far less nice.
Then again, as someone else said, maybe she didn't think she was lying. Maybe to her, "chocolatey goodness" includes kissing and nudity. It's a shame she only writes like 2 eps a season. She should write the whole damn show, IMO - and not just because of the House-Wilson stuff. She's just plain good.
