You young, hip people on my f-list, help me out, please.

Just got this anonymous comment (on a pr0n type story):

Subject: Kidala123
Text:
NSU - 4efer, 5210 - rulez
[url=http://bk-magazin.com][/url]

Spam comment? Or does this mean something and I just can't decipher it, being both fuddy and duddy?

PS. Yeah, so the very lovely [personal profile] perspi nominated My Fathers' Son on [profile] housefic_meta.  Anyone who wants to go over and comment/analyze/throw stones is welcome.

What story was this on?

I might be able to decipher it, but I can't promise anything... (that is quite an interesting way to write a comment...

As for the [url] thing, I think they might have been trying to put in a link, but didn't know the proper HTML code? I dunno...

It's the last comment on Theater 3: http://deelaundry.livejournal.com/6670.html. I am mystified.

Darn... I had my hopes up in thinking that NSU was an acronym for something... I dunno... 4efer(sounds like chatspeak '4eva' if I've ever heard it, and rulez, well, that seems obvious...

I might just be spam...

(Darn...I wanted a nice puzzle to solve...)

The website's in Russian, seems to be a gamer site. I'd just delete it.

So a spam-type thing, you think?

Ya. Spambots aren't always bright. The one that does my LJ ads seems to think I want a four-bedroom in Parkersburg, Iowa.

NSU stands for Non-Specific Urethritis, but I doubt that's what it means here XD

I'm young, but I'm not hip. I do speak F@NGRL! & internet. That's not coherent, even to me.

It looks like BBCode to me. Bizarre that even a bot would use BBCode on an LJ, but...whatever. The [url... code, if actually entered on a bulletin board using BBCode, would create a clickable link (much like the < a href... code on a normal, HTML-based site). So yeah, it's spam attempting to direct you to that website. Just delete. ;)

On another note, I can't believe My Father's Son hasn't already made the [livejournal.com profile] housefic_meta Hall of Fame. It's one of the best in the fandom, for sure. Not only did I cry the first time I read it, I cry every time I read it. Good luck with that!

Thanks a lot. The discussion's not looking too favorable right now, but we'll see.

I deleted the comment - too bizarre.
