Hi, y'all!

Felt like sharing some good things happening lately:

- My new therapist said I seem like a warm and friendly person who would "add light to a room" *blush*
- I got recruited into an exciting new job and start November 7. From first message to me on LinkedIn to signed job offer: 8 days, 23 hours, 55 minutes. WHOA. Even better, current company said, "We'll miss you. If the new job doesn't meet your expectations, reach back out to us."
- Running three panels at ConFab this weekend: Our Flag Means Death (SQUEE), Kinktomato, and "Where's the Friends' List Option?" in which I will be asking people where today's LJ comms are
- Have TWO vids premiering at ConFab
- Signed up for Holmestice and Festivids, and am re-dedicating myself to fulfilling my FandomTrumpsHate commitments. One is done (those vids premiering at ConFab); two to go!

Wow, excellent news all around! I tried to get more involved in fandom things, but job gave me new responsibilities, downside of being the senior teacher in a department full of newbies.
