I am watching the new season of Law & Order (original style) because Hugh Dancy is on it.

I hate his hair. It makes him look ugly.
His character is named Nolan. Nolan's junior attorney Samantha is going to slug him some day. She is quite obviously smarter and more engaged in life than he is.
Sam Waterson doesn't seem well? Or maybe the "always dropping in on the way to somewhere else" segments are not his forte, but I'm actually worried for the actor.
I had forgotten Camryn Manheim existed, but I like her in this role, even though she looks more like an attorney than a cop.
Detective Frank Cosgrove should go suck a lemon. Some more, I mean. He hasn't earned being that cranky.
The "someone killed the famous person who raped 30 women" episode is very wish fulfillment but ok.
They should bring RSL's character from SVU, Kenneth O'Dwyer, into this series so RSL can hang with his idol Mr. Waterman.
Also, Kenneth and Nolan should be banging. Just 'cause.

I have so many WIPs on my plate, it's not funny! But who knows? :-D I signed up for Fandom Trumps Hate this year, and have two fics and one vid to complete for that. By the end of the year, so it's not too much pressure, and I've figured out the 'story' for all of them.

How are you? Any shows you're watching these days? Fandom on Twitter is all about Our Flag Means Death. It was a great series with three queer couples in canon, so there is so much excitement. Plus, the showrunner and Taika Waititi are interacting with fans on Twitter from time to time, liking fanart etc.

We are watching all the Star Treks and watched 1883. Other than that, nothing except House with my son. He was a bit young for all the nuances the first time around.

I could not figure out why television gradually seemed so uninteresting to me until I got hearing aids a few months ago. (Covid did a number on my hearing.) I wasn't watching because I couldn't easily hear it. Television is not really a visual art form: blind people follow it much more easily than deaf people. So my viewing has gone up a bit now that I can hear better.
