Hello!

I am moving through 2020 with two goals:

- Get a good job (was fired for the first time in my decades' long working life and it has taken me months to even begin to deal)

- Read 20 books. Not fanfiction ("Not you. I know what you smell like.") but actual books. I believe I'll start with the thirteen (13) that I have checked out of the library right now. *rolls eyes at self using very old internet grammar*

Things I will do in 2020:

- Vote for the Democratic nominee for US President (my preference is Warren but if not her, any Democrat)

Things I would like to do in 2020:

- Write more. Probably starting with a fanfic fusion of a show that went off the air in 2012 with a book that came out in 2008. But ya know, that's me, I'm old.

- Make a few vids.

- Have some chats online with fannish friends, whether about fannish stuff or other things.

- Go to more fan brunches.

- See a play with RSL in it. This is contingent on RSL being in a play within reasonable travel distance to my home, so ... up to you, big guy! The Kennedy Center is a great venue, I have heard.

- Visit bironic :)

- Make, or convince Bironic to make, my "favorite autistic characters and celebs" vid

Kinda sucks that this needs to be said at this point, but folks always gotta get mad and destroy everything. Also: YES.

These are good plans. I'm more than halfway through my first 2020 book, and that's probably more than I've read in months. Go, us!

Oh, god, I could rant for days about 45 but I won't. Looking forward to the day when I never have to think about him ever again.

I've made progress in reading one library book, listening to one library audiobook, and reading one non-library book. \o/

I am by God holding out for a much better year. 2019 sucked in so very many ways on a personal level. It is going to get better or I am going to be one loudly angry old lady.
