1. Do you have the urge to do a Fall/Spring cleaning as soon as the weather turns?

No for Fall, but yes for Spring. Opening up the windows after winter lets in a freshness that makes the rest of the house feel stale. I'm not a very good deep cleaner (fortunately I can hire someone for that) but I love to organize and dust.

2. What tells you that the season (a certain smell, a certain taste, that sort of thing) has changed?

It used to be the weather, but lately the weather at season-change-time has been very ... unseasonable. Now, amusingly, it's often the changing of the meme on Tumblr or Twitter that gets me excited about a season change.

3. What do you look forward to the most with the change of seasons?

The feeling of newness, and of motion. Things aren't staying the same.

4. What is something that you probably should accomplish but won’t this season?

Normally I'd have a firm answer for that, but this time, I'm feeling optimistic that expectation and reality will be in sync. Either I'll get things done or I'll acknowledge why not and adjust.

5. What is the most enjoyable part of the oncoming season for you?

The weather and the outdoor activities. For the most part I'm an air-conditioned-environment kind of gal, but in this area in the fall, it's a great time to be out.

I'm so glad you had fun with them - thank you for taking part.

It would be nice to hire someone to come in and give the place a good cleaning, but my husband is weird about letting people in. Oh, well. at least he helps.

I agree, Autumn is a glorious time here, too. Warm, but not too hot, and you can breathe again. :D

Oddly enough, I like deep cleaning. It's the daily tidying that I can't stand, heh.

I like to do some serious cleaning in January when we have a few days when the endless gloom and drizzle lifts and there's sunshine. Suddenly we can see all the dust and cobwebs of winter. :)

It's satisfying to get rid of that dust, isn't it?

We do the whole open-the-windows thing in the fall to let the house air out after being shut up with the A/C running all summer.

Movement is a sign of life, I can definitely appreciate that you look forward to the feeling of motion with the seasons changing.
