Hello. Long time no post.

I won a Humorous Speech contest today. I owe it all to Mr. L.

Literally -- my speech was about weird things he's done. :D

Anyhoo, I am 95% done with a Housefic. It's been at 80% done for a while but now an ending is in sight! Wish me luck!

Keeping fingers and toes and eyes crossed for a speedy end and an even speedier posting.... Oh, and congratulations to you and your laundry mate. Truly a symbiotic relationship. If I'd entered that contest, it would have been all about my son.

My younger son is now singing along to the Beatles song Eleanor Rigby: "I look at all the lovely people!" :) He told us yesterday that he wants us to put more "chocolate stirrup" in his milk. Maybe my next speech will be about him...

My ex gifted me with a lifetime of humorous as well as horrific stories. Er, he's sort of like a PTSD carrier. I believe there are bits of him in several of my stories.

Delighted to hear there's a Housefic on it's way. :)

Mr. L has only deliberately made it into two of my fics. Once when House told Wilson about cooking, "If I don't critique you, how will you get better?"; and the second time in, ahem, a House-pesters-unwilling-Wilson-into-sex fic. :)

Luck!
Mr L is OK with you making public speeches about the weird things he's done?

Well... not really, as I found out when I got home. BUT as the speech made crystal clear, I only label them as weird because they're not what I personally would do. And he similarly finds some things I do weird, because they're not what he would do.
