My Laptop Died

UGH. My awesome little personal laptop has died. Googling uncovered that this error can be fixed by creating a Linux boot CD, booting from there and then totally wiping the hard drive :(

If Mr. L is not interested in doing it for me, I think I'm going to go to Best Buy and have them do it. :(

When this will happen to me I will curl up and die because I never, ever back up.

I didn't back up, but I will from now on. And he fixed the laptop, so yay!

My husband got it back for me! He had to create an Ubuntu CD and boot up the laptop from an external CD drive -- and it worked!

I don't back up that laptop either, but I sure will now. Thanks for the condolences. I was very worried, but fortunately Mr. L worked his magic. :D
