Saw a quick hit about RSL being on Mad Men and thought WHAT? Turns out it was just an Entertainment Weekly writer indulging in some fantasizing about where that show could go in the future. SPOILERS for Mad Men.
The Betty Draper “Dominating Supporting Character” Future: Just about every episode of season 6 spends anywhere between a few minutes to half the run-time at the free-thinking Cutler Gleason and Chaough. At first, Peggy is in heaven. By episode 3, her campaign using Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner to sell the first countertop microwave ovens has caught the eye of partners Johnny Cutler (Bill Irwin) and Ian Gleason (Robert Sean Leonard). Peggy is approached to help the firm poach Ken Cosgrove. She hesitates — she knows her old firm isn’t exactly in the best shape ever since Lane’s embezzlement came to light — but her old pact with Ken compels her to agree. Ken joins CGC, and a handful of his clients come with him.

Thanks for the new fantasy.Btw, I'm also semi-hooked on "The Good Wife." Sunday's rerun had Lisa Edelstein and Nina Arianda. I'm still holding out hope that someday RSL will show up in a story arc.

The opposite of House, I'm intrigued with the legal cases, not the soap opera. They are more complex than the usual law show. Not particularly interested in Julianna Margulies or Josh Charles (DPS) either. A bit too low key for my taste. However, I adore regulars: Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming, and Chris Noth. There are always great recurring guest actors to spice things up: Michael J. Fox, David Paymer, Parker Posey, Amy Sedaris, Rita Wilson, Bryan Brown, F. Murray Abraham, and Carrie Preston. RSL would be a great addition... if only.

No hope of him actually winning of course, not with Peter Dinklage kicking ass on Game of Thrones, but a nomination to acknowledge 8 years of solid supporting work would be nice. I doubt it will happen though. Heck, Hugh Laurie has never won an Emmy for creating one of TV's most memorable characters.
