Are there any science-y-type people who aren't participating in Remix who might be able to look over something tomorrow and make sure I'm not making a fool of myself? It doesn't have to be perfect, just reasonable. Verisimilitude! AKA, the laugh test.

Huh - not getting comment notifications, for some reason. Anyway - yes, I'm surprised I didn't get down there during my intense Anne Rice phase... but then, I was a freshman in high school and not equipped to take trips myself.

I'm Canadian and I've been to exactly one city in America... I'm so ashamed.

Why ashamed? US has some cool cities, but it's definitely not the be-all end-all.

(Hm, and speaking of idioms, do Canadians say "right as rain"?)

(smile) I'm ashamed that I've never been anywhere, not just the U.S.
Hmm. It's a bit dated as an expression but I'd say yes, Canadians say "right as rain" as much as Americans do.
