Jon Stewart mentioned slash again on TDS and it made me cheerful. Specifically, RPS with the US's Founding Fathers. :D You known Ben Franklin would've been all over the kink memes, had they been around at the time.

Or maybe they were around, how do I know?

Remix. Must work on Remix.

Okay, now I'm trying to imagine an RPS 'zine from the period, or something.

"Thomas," John murmured into his Compatriot's Ear. "It would break Abigail's heart if it be known of our Liaison...."

*dies a little inside*

Why yes there was! I ♥ Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Wilson

(Not to be confused with the other James Wilsons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Wilson_(disambiguation))

Have you seen 1776? How about the recording of the Broadway revival with Brent Spiner? It gets a bit salacious at times...the recent HBO John Adams miniseries, also. "Oh, to be seventy again" is one of Franklin's better quotes.
