A writing meme has been making the rounds, and I've been happy to see what my friends have to say.

As a non-reader of slash i feel unqualified to take this poll, but would like you to know that the ticky loves you.

ETA that if there were a category for "most emotionally devastating" i'd vote for The Drop of Water or Locked Up, neither of which i can stand to re-read because they're so painful.

Heh, it's interesting: most options in the poll are slash, but in "Most Maudlin" all but two options are gen or het fics. Lack of slash makes me sad?

That is the difficulty with things like this -- trying to remember which story is which.
