ETA: I'm sick today (1/19), in the "thinking is hard" kind of way, so these will get done later. Tomorrow? Cross fingers.

The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request that I write a drabble* of any pairing/character of their choosing. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.

1. [livejournal.com profile] petrichor_fizz: House/Wilson - Done
2. [livejournal.com profile] simmysim: Wilson warning S1 Foreman about what he's about to get into
3. [livejournal.com profile] chickloveslotr: The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon/Leonard
4. [livejournal.com profile] hannahrorlove: Damon/Affleck robot AU - Done, although I'll also write the House/Wilson collar prompt
5. [livejournal.com profile] mer_duff: Wilson/Amber, before House knows - Done
6. [livejournal.com profile] starlingthefool: Holmes/Watson with waistcoats and pocketwatches
7. [livejournal.com profile] hibernia1: House/Wilson
8. [livejournal.com profile] bery26: House and Wilson meeting for the first time
9. [livejournal.com profile] leaper182: Jeeves/Wooster, Jeeves being very awesome, Bertie in total awe, and possibly a kiss
10. [livejournal.com profile] savemoony: from the Greg Wilson 'verse

*Drabble-ish ficlet, which will be written quickly and unbetaed. I will take any fandom, but you're most likely to get something decent-ish in: House (any character or pairing/group), SGA (any character or pairing/group), Sherlock Holmes (movie), Overboard, Jeeves & Wooster, Dead Poets' Society, Oceans', Damon/Affleck, Crash (the James Spader movie, not the other one), Oz, X-Files, Harry Potter.

Is House-Wilson friendship with Wilson/OMC OK?

All the moments before the moment, House recalls in still images, a flipbook.

- Wilson’s name on the door
- His own hand on doorknob
- Bottom of door and carpet in darkness
- Circle of light from desk lamp
- Legs in green scrubs
- Slim hips
- Wilson’s hands on what?
- Broad shoulders
- Short curly blond hair

The instant he saw the kiss has preserved itself as a manga sketch, surprisingly. Clean lines in relief against a white background. No shading, 2-D, but with emotion and passion emanating.

***

The day after the moment was quiet. Nothing unusual at all. Patients and Cuddy and stuff and things and sitting in Wilson’s office, doing nothing.

He watched Wilson’s left hand, signing paperwork.

“So, how long have you been batting righty?”

“Not talking about it.”

***

The day after the day after the moment there were fliers in the Clinic waiting area about the upcoming Princeton Pride Parade. House reached down to pick one up, and Wilson shoved him into the nearest exam room.

“Do I get to find out more now?” House asked.

“No. I just have to know for sure you won’t say anything to anyone.”

“I won’t say a thing. Scout’s honor.” House cocked his head to the side (cocked, heh), and contemplated. “Well, actually I probably will say something, but everyone will take it as a joke. Just to be safe, you should work on your not-blushing.”

J. E. Wilson, the Stern Superman, stared him down. “Seriously. This has ramifications. It’s not something I want anyone to know.”

“Comfy in there with the coats, are you?” When Wilson failed to budge – self-loathing idiot – House conceded, “Wilson, yes, seriously, I won’t say anything.”

The Superman pose was dropped, and skepticism replaced grimness. “You mean it?”

He did mean it, although he didn’t know exactly why. Wilson hid way much more than was reasonable, or sensible, or healthy. If he cared about Wilson’s health. Which he didn’t, because that would make him Wilson, and two Wilsons in one friendship was at least one too many.

So, House didn’t know why he was agreeing to keep the secret, but fortunately, he had an excellent excuse that would satisfy Wilson while preserving House’s reputation. “It is so much more entertaining to torture you under the table, as it were. Veiled references are the funnest references.”

Wilson finally, finally relaxed into his normal amount of fussy stiffness. “Fine. I’ll probably be very busy over the next couple of weeks, anyway, and won’t see you much.” He headed toward the door.

“Expecting an upswing in cancer?”

“Yep, that and all the sex.” The door was open and Wilson was smiling as he left. “Bye.”

***

EPILOGUE

“Hey, Wilson. How’s it going with Dr. Lips?”

“Who?”

“Your little nursie.”

“That’s over. It was just a little thing.”

“Oh. How unfortunate for you.”

“The relationship was a little thing.”

Awesome from start to finish! The flipbook, the batting rightly, comfy in there with the coats - fab! If you wanted to write more of this Wilson, I for one would be delighted <3

I'd love a drabble about Wilson warning S1 Foreman about what he's about to get into. Maybe current Foreman reflecting back on that conversation?

I'll post this when I'm done with my Big Bang.

If you can, Damon/Affleck robot AU; if not, Wilson/House with Wilson collaring House.

Did I already share with you the beginning? (If I have, let me know and I'll write more.)

The knock at the door was sharp and completely unexpected. It took Ben a few moments to disentangle himself from the couch, and in that time there were two more knocks. “Impatient fucker,” he murmured, the annoyance taking the sting off his immediate alarm.

Three long strides took him across the small living room to the front door. He pressed his eye to the peephole and caught the stranger with his fist in the air, about to strike the door again. “Stop! I’m coming, I’m coming.” He flung the door open, and the blond-haired man on his doorstep broke into a grin.

“Hey, there. Kevin sent me.”

Ben didn’t bother to shield his incredulity. “This is a quarantine zone.”

“Yeah, I kind of got that from the two airlocks I had to go through and the hazard signs all around.” He waved to the left and then the right side of Ben’s door, where the bright yellow quarantine signs almost glowed against the dark wood.

“And that didn’t bother you?”

“Well, it – hold on a second, Kevin’s calling me.” The stranger pressed a finger to his ear, and his blue eyes went a little blank. “Hi, yeah, I’m here. Yeah, he’s here.”

PS. I don't think I can write Wilson collaring House, because House's need for control and self-determination is too overwhelmingly a part of his character for me to see him submitting to that for a long-term relationship. Enjoying submission on a short basis, yes, but not long-term.

I could write a short piece in the dom-sub AU where House cross-dresses, wearing Wilson's collar.

I've had some discussions with [livejournal.com profile] cryptictac where the main thesis of our argument was "the sub holds the power in the relationship", with additional points about our desire to see House admit to trusting and caring for another individual to that point, as well as the mutual kink involved and our shared dislike of the conflation of top/bottom to dom/sub. That said, I can see where you're coming from, which also makes a great deal of sense given how his character has been explored since she and I had those conversations.

For the crossdressing - now that possibility would be fun. Oh yes.

Wilson/Amber, before House knows

She looked at him skeptically. "You want to come up with a strategy for how to accomodate the distress your friend may or many not feel when he may or may not find out you're dating?"

It hadn't sounded as silly when he'd proposed it seconds ago. Wilson hoped. "He will find out. It's just a matter of time."

"And you think he'll be upset?" Amber raised her glass of wine to her lips, and James had to struggle not to be distracted (enchancted) by the way the candlelight danced in the glass and the liquid and the pearelscent sheen of her lips.

He blinked once, and smiled, and watched her lips curve up in return. "House, yes, I mean, no, not upset." Well, yes upset, actually, but Wilson had to grant House some privacy. "He'll be... concerned. And it's better if we're expecting that, if we've already agreed how we'll deal with it."

Amber leaned forward and took his hand into hers. "He fired me. I think his ego's been salved enough that he won't care that you've got me now."

"Oh, he won't care about you," Wilson thoughtlessly replied, and then felt his eyes widening in shock at his own rudeness. He clutched at Amber's hands to keep her close, assuage the offense she must have felt. "I do, of course. I mean, care about you."

Her expression held amusement, not offense, though, and the thumb she stroked across his knuckles was gentle. "I know you care. But if House doesn't, then what are you worried about?"

Wilson knew what he was worried about, and yet he didn't. He suspected House would care, a lot, the way House cared every time Wilson wanted to date someone more than once. But, then again, when you got down to the bottom of House's arguments against the women Wilson was interested in (or the women House thought Wilson was interested in), the core was that none of the women were exciting enough, special enough.

Amber was.

James squeezed Amber's hands gently and then called for the check.

This is fantastic! Just what I wanted and needed. Wilson is irresistible when he's flustered. And he's absoutely right that Amber was exciting and special enough (though I suspect that wouldn't be much comfort to House :D).

Thank you!

If you could write this (http://community.livejournal.com/hw_reqs/618660.html), that would be awesome.

Or maybe one where Wilson finds out how House knew his blood type in "You Dont Want To Know" that would be cool too.

Feel free to say no though, of course, if you dont like the ideas.
