Are you tired of this meme yet? Hope not, because it looks like fun to me.

Inspired by Doctor Who's "Turn Left:" Pick one of my stories and tell me a point in the tale that you'd change. Something tiny (e.g. "and then Fay chose silver glitter instead of gold") or big (e.g. "and then Rose was arrested instead of Jack") and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story.

Any story is fair game, no matter how small (or large) or ancient.

What if House became Wilson's wife in Pillory?

How did House end up with the status of woman? I've wracked my brain, but can't think of a way that he would voluntarily give up the control that he has as a man. I can picture him leaving their society and taking Wilson with him, but I can't picture him taking on the woman's status with how much autonomy he would have to give up (all of it).

I'm still thinking about this. I've only got as far as about a year after the incident: House gets more paranoid, and starts spending more and more time back at his old apartment, up to weeks at a time. He also starts very ostentatiously dating a woman. Wilson accepts that dating women is part of the cover, but he gets highly annoyed/upset about how much House talks about it at the hospital. Jack's hurt by how little House is around their house.

What if Wilson's daughter had survived in 'Lost and Found'?

Wilson would have stayed in touch with her by email, and House would have enjoyed mocking him. "You're on Facebook now? Seriously? Good God, what's next, Twitter? ... Oh, no, don't tell me." Eventually, Gina let Cassandra come visit Wilson for a long weekend, and a few years later, she stayed with him for a week over Spring break.

Gina, Cassandra, and Wilson all avoided mentioning it when Cassandra approached the same age her mother had been when she'd been born, but House didn't forget. Oh no. When Cassandra was the exact same age, to the day, House broke into Wilson's email and emailed Cassandra: "So, Wilson needs some grandchildren to dote over. When you going to make him a bubbe, huh?"

Cassandra asked Wilson if she could start calling him her godfather, and after many "they keep pulling me back in" jokes from House, he accepted.

Milk, Silk, a Bedspread or a Quilt - what if Wilson let himself remember much earlier, before his brother was found?

If Wilson had let himself remember before his brother was found, it probably would have been while meeting with Dykeman, his psychiatrist. She would have insisted he understand that the acts were consensual. Assuming she was successful, I don't think he would have made any connection with Grace, and thus the events of Milk, Silk wouldn't have happened.

House would never have found out about the incest at all. Wilson would have introduced House to his brother at some point, but neither the brother nor Wilson would have mentioned the incest.

Eventually, House would notice Wilson hadn't had a girlfriend in a while, and start bugging him about it, and Wilson would finally come out to House. Who would be pissed Wilson hadn't told him before, but otherwise fine.

Well, the parallel of Wilson-Brad wouldn't be as funny as Wilson-Sandy, but the images would be quite sexy! Because House would definitely see himself as Frank. At the end of the story, House would re-write the end of Rocky Horror, with Frank escaping the castle with Brad.

Chase would have to be Rocky, I see Cuddy as Magenta, maybe Cameron as Janet?
now picturing HL in Frank drag riding off on his bike with RSL hanging on in back in that Chinese bathrobe Brad wound up in. It's a pretty fun image, wish I could draw it.
