My insanity is creeping into a second fandom. I want to make a McKay-centric vid to "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon.

C'mon, a bodyguard the guy wants to call "Betty" -- is that Sheppard or what? I mean, seriously.

Had a tough time with who the disappeared "role model" would be, because McKay seems to be his own role model, which led to the obvious conclusion. Rod. No doubt.

It's been done to superb effect in the Due South fandom, to the point where someone who's never seen the show can understand the vid. Want a copy?

Please do send it.

One of these days I'll actually follow through with one of my threatened fanvids :D

DUDE. GET OUT OF MY BRAIN.

Except that I was going to switch it up between Sheppard, McKay, and Zelenka, cause I like to make things overly complicated, and that bit was going to be Sheppard and Sumner. But lately EVERY SONG I LISTEN TO turns into a vid in my head.

I hated Rod. lol. If Sheppard hadn't had the team bonding moment of 'Rod was creepy, we like you better' I would've slapped him silly.

Odd thing about vids. I have all the computer skills needed, but have only have one idea. Two days later someone used the song and I've never been inspired again. I wonder if anyone as ever used classical for a Rodney vid.
