I actually read this after Account Balance Zero. So my comment will be for both.
These were perfect, it is just like House to do something like this. I was hoping at the end of Zero that Wilson would take Cameron to task for interferring wherer she had no business. He let her off easy!
And I remember Creature Feature, are they still running those?

It's meant to be read after, so that's good. : ) Wilson wasn't bothered by Cameron stepping in because he knows she's trying to be a friend for House. Wilson had been in a terrible mood the previous day and really had let House have it.

(And at least here she was direct about it, unlike in the Tritter arc where she got snotty and rude to Wilson in front of their colleagues and then was on her high-horse about his motives in trying to help House. There I wanted him to take her to task so badly.)

The dialogue's great, but it wasn't nearly as well-written as the first one. The words aren't even in quotation marks. Feels like you're just trying to stretch the thing out.

You're right; this is definitely not as fleshed out as "Account Balance Zero." It's just a little add-on for anyone who wanted to see a snippet of how the arrangement began.

I just finished reading the fic that is a prequel to and I absolutely love this. It's so true to their dynamic, to their personalities, especially at the end when the subject is changed and you've written it in a way that the words flow so naturally.
