EEEEE! Robert Sean Leonard raves about Annie Dudek, and says who he'd cast for a certain plotline that may be explored later this season. SPOILER for what that plotline would be.

Here's the video interview.

PS. I want to hear more about awesome women. Tell me, tell me!

Not working for me. Also tried logging in with IE -- that acted like it was going to work, but didn't.

Oh well.

Man, I'm sorry. Do you want to know who he wants to play the part? You can probably guess which part... and who he wants. :D

The video works fine here.
And..... Ethan Hawke as Wilson´s brother would be... omg....fantastic!!!

I don't like Ethan Hawke much, but RSL does, so I bet they'd be great together. :D

I really like Ethan Hawke a whole lot and think he'd be a logical choice.

(Josh Charles, too)

"Leo DiCaprio?"

LOL. That guy obviously wasn't prepped on interviewing RSL.

Does RSL always wear those glasses? They are legitimately dorky, not just hip-to-be-square dorky. <3

That guy was the same one who interviewed RSL at the Fox Summer party thingy this year, which was another pretty good interview. The guy's a little bit dorky, but he can bring a good interview out from RSL. Or maybe that's "dorky, so he can..." :D

RSL always wears glasses; those might be new. His eye was very in-turny during the interview, so I wonder if his strabismus is getting worse and he needed new glasses.

Hah! I was thinking that RSL seemed somewhat into this interview.. you know, to an extent.

For various, sundry, and personal reasons, Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard as brothers would rock my socks off.

It could be quite awesome indeed. :DDD Nothing guaranteed, though, so we can't get too excited. Even though a number of RSL's friends have already had guest spots...

I'm thrilled over the fact that they remembered his brother and accept whoever gets cast. So I won't worry until I actually see the episode.

I read this interview with Learner and Friend at the beginning of the season - sorry I don't have a link - and they said that Wilson's brother comes up a lot when the writers talk about storylines. They even considered throwing in a reference to him in the season 4 finale. They said bringing him back as a storyline has to be done right. That's what has be excited, knowing that the writers having been thinking about this a long time and are concerned about doing it right, because that means it should be great!

I'm sort of torn, because I love a Wilson storyline, but I love the long lost brother storyline and I will be so disappointed if the writers glaze over it or screw it up.

I love RSL praising Annie. I'm not really for Ethan only because I've got it stuck in my head that his brother is older. Wilson has always screamed middle child to me and I love Mer's backstory.

I'll be disappointed too if they screw it up, but I'm trying not to think about it too much or get my hopes up.

Wilson so seems like a middle child to me. The peacemaker, the placater. Campbell Scott, according to IMDB, is eight years older than RSL, so he might work!

I didn't get to view the video interview, but from the comments, I get the idea of what's being discussed, and, really, that plotline might save the season. Might. I reserve judgment, though.

Sorry you can't see the interview. To the future plotline, RSL said, "In the very first year, they alluded to his brother being homeless, and now that's - we're gonna be revisiting that." \o/

It was only because I was at work at the time, and I take my very, very slow laptop that cannot handle playing things like video interviews. But thank you! Something to look forward to. *waves mini-flag and tries not to put my hopes too high*

Oooh, I'm very glad that they remembered about Wilson's brother. "Histories" is one of the episodes I watched over and over again when I was trying to get my Wilson voice going, and I always wanted to see Wilson's brother. That will be very cool to see, and I really hope the writers don't fuck it up.

And RSL was cute. <3

Then again, I always think he's physically cute, so I dunno.

If TPTB really do this storyline properly it could be fantastic.
