I am immensely flattered and happy to recommend two wonderful remixes of my fic Green ("Wilson makes a new friend. House is tickled pink. Or not.").

jdr1184 retells the story from the POV of the girlfriend of Wilson's new friend in The Lutzy Bunch. In the process, JDR has created a fully rounded and charmingly real original character, a woman I'd enjoy being friends with.

hwshipper's tale This Happy State of Affairs transforms a friendship fic into a friendship-with-benefits fic... sexily! (NC-17, House/Wilson, Wilson/OMC) It's very interesting to see how adding sex to the mix changes our perception of Wilson's actions and House's jealousy. Plus, hwshipper and I are in complete agreement on the hotness of teasing touches on a belt.

The thing that made me really happy about both of those is how much they felt like part of Green, even though hwshipper's was quite a bit different from it and jdr's was very different. It was such fun to beta them :D

Re complete agreement on the hotness of teasing touches on a belt - I think I may have told you before that I once saw this happen IN REAL LIFE in an art gallery; these two guys were walking around looking at pictures and one just reached out to the other and hooked a finger through a belt loop... *melts all over again*

You're welcome; pleased to do it. You realize in "This Happy" you have Wilson crooking a finger around Charlie's belt buckle, right? I had first read it as "loop" and thought of just that incident you'd told me, but then blinked and it was really "buckle." Which is also hot. :D
