If you are registered to vote in the US tomorrow today, please vote.

It is your right and your responsibility as a citizen.

When you make your selection for President, don't choose based on who has the best smile or the most attractive children. Choose based on who will take the country in the direction you want it to go.

There are clear differences between the candidates on the issues. Learn about them, and then select the person who, overall, aligns most closely with your ideas about what will be best for our country.

Sent in my absentee ballot a while ago. Hope they don't lose it.

I'm pretty itchy about voting! I want to do it now.

Whee! I just posted my own voting PSA. The Obama campaign really wants my vote--they left me a doorknob hanger with my voting location, and also had a volunteer call and suggest that I vote between 7 and 8 AM to beat the crowds. I'm excited! Also totally bummed that I'm going to be teaching in the evening and won't be able to go to any election-results-watching parties.

Word,

Sent in my absentee ballot despite the great Commonwealth of Virginia trying its damnest not to get it to me.

Don't forgot as you go tot he polls-
1. Have your sample ballot or other reminder of how you want to vote
2. dress for the weather and the wait. If polls are like there were in 2004 except some delays getting to vote. Wear comfortable clothese and comfortable shoes.
3. Try to go early if you can
4. Wear your I Voted Sticker

I got it all over by seven-thirty, even getting my free beverage from a nearby Starbucks. Victory for Hannah!

AMEN to that. I myself looked at the issues to make my decision, but being a union electrician my number one reason for voting for Obama is that McCain is very anti-union. It boggles my mind when I read letters from or speak with other union members who think McCain will make a great president. HELLO.....He's taking away your bread and butter. I'd hate to think their reasoning has racist undertones, but after this election campaign, the rose tinted glasses have come off.
