If you participated in the Speculation Pool, now is the time to pay up! Don't make me send Martin Grey after you!

Go to Xaipw's post on [livejournal.com profile] wilsons_heart and give her something creative. Fun, funny, or angsty; ep-related or not; it's all good. So far, people have paid up with:

- an activity-book-type maze
- icons
- a GIF of House, Wilson, and Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis
- a short, funny vignette on why Wilson sleeps on House's couch
- a post-ep ficlet with Wilson considering other universes
- a schmoopy House/Wilson ficlet completely unrelated to the ep

Your turn!

Not that I know who Martin Grey is, but I can whip up something I'd already been thinking about this afternoon, no problem.

Martin is the villain of "Bad Company" and "Aftershocks." He's not very nice.

I know I co-opted you into this, so I appreciate you whipping something up. Looking forward to it!

For some reason, I never read those - it always looked very intimidating and hard to keep track of, even after everything got written. Although the first hit on Google has "Martin Grey" on IMBD as one of those "hey, it's that guy!" actors on a bunch of recent TV shows.

I don't think it's hard to follow, but it is not everybody's cup of tea. Wilson gets tortured, basically, and then has to recover. House was the one who caused the whole thing (without meaning to get Wilson involved), so he has to help Wilson, deal with his own guilt, and also deal with traumas he himself endured when he was younger.

You might find it interesting, but you might not.

Also, what I've got turned out longer than I thought it would - could you take a quick look over it and see if it's not too out-of-whack?

Sure! I'm going out tonight but can look at it when I get back. Email me deelaundry at yahoo dot com or on your LJ - either way.

LOL JANE! You made five awesome banners; your obligation is more than fulfilled! Of course, if you ever want to do something else, we will love it and adore it and name it George.

why thank-you! I only realised looking at it this morning that it doesn't have a single word of dialogue in it. Definitely a first for me!

I already warned Sauty that it's going to take me a while to figure out what to make her.

I'm thinking, I'm thinking.

If Sauty's fine, I'm fine.

This afternoon I figured out what I'm doing, but it's going to take a couple of days (plus I'm going to need some help as I have no idea how to upload stuff).

When you get a chance, can you read (and answer) the PM I left you at HHOW?

Thanks.

Yup. Thanks. The answering machine was at the end of Clueless (which also qualifies -- thanks to the "you blow dry your hair?" scene) and it sets the stage for the practical jokes in Safe.

I know what I'm doing tonight (and probably tomorrow. And I also promised to do the transcribing for Don't Ever Change, so it shall be a very House weekend (which, by definition, is a good thing.)

I made a gif of it (first time ever that I was sucessful at that) and put it in Photobucket (3rd time I've done that and linked it in the comments on Wilsons_Heart.

Based on how it looked in Photobucket, I thought it would be unreadable, but it isn't. (And Sauty has the Word file anyway so it wouldn't matter.)

All in all, this pool was very educational for me.
