I'm a horrible estimator, so I need your help.

Wilson is 6'0" tall - how much do you think he weighs? If I say "180" will that sound ridiculous?

I seem to recall that my dad, who was 6'2, slightly taller and thinner-built than Wilson, weighed right around 180. So I think that sounds about right.

You could consult one of those "healthy weight" charts to see if it's in the right range.

The Healthy BMI for 6'0" is pretty wide: anywhere from 140 to 183. If 180 wouldn't be too crazy, I'll go with that.

It's not ridiculous. I would say anywhere from 175 - 180.

It's House and he'd probably exaggerate high, as well, so... that works! Thanks!

Hmm, he's (well, his actor to be pedantic) 6'... Depends imo rather strongly if you write him in plump-mode or in his slimmer version, both of which we've seen on the show!

Seriously, RSL is the actor with the heaviest weight-swings shown on screen so you might want to take that into account. In which stage do you want to write him?
(Also it gives you a ready made excuse should someone complain: "oh, I was portraying him in one of his pudgy phases/a fitter stage" ^_~)

Good point! It's supposed to be about now, so if 180 doesn't sound too crazy I'll go with that.

Are you sure he is 6'0". I only ask because my husband is that height. At 180 my husband is pretty slender. I'd say about what Wilson was first season. He's probably more like 190 now but I'd say close enough. :D

I would guess around 195-200. I know some guys who are ~6 feet tall and have more muscle mass than Wilson (since muscle weighs more than fat) who are anywhere from 210 to 225.

I'd say it's fairly accurate. My Dad is 6'2" and very thin (he's a biker). He weighs about 180. So if you're going for S1 or S2 Wilson, that's a good weight.

My friend D is almost 6' and roughly 170. He's got a similar build to Wilson in S1, though more muscular. So a solider Wilson would easily be 180.

I'd go higher. My hubby is 6'2" and 180 and he's pretty thin. I'd bet Wilson was around 180 in S1. Probably closer to 200-210 now. (although, 200 just SOUNDS fat, doesn't it? :D)

I am 6'0 tall.

But I'm a woman. And I'm not telling how much I weigh. :)

I had a similar discussion about whether one of those shower seats some disabled people use could hold up House and...somebody else. (Not Wilson.)
