I want these dishes to wash themselves.

I want to know who is remixing me for [livejournal.com profile] remixredux08 and what story she or he has chosen. I realize that actually knowing this right now would violate both the letter and the spirit of RemixRedux, but that realization does not stop me from wanting it. Ah well. This want will be satisfied in time.

I want the hair-dye universe ([livejournal.com profile] xaipw knows what I'm talking about) to either vacate my brain or turn itself into a fic that would meet one of my RSL BD Fic commitments.

I want to apologize to those to whom I made RSL BD Fic commitments for the continued delay in getting those fulfilled. I very much appreciate the donation you made and am honored you chose me to write you a fic. The delay is me getting wrapped around the axle, nothing to do with you. Sorry.

I want significantly more people to leave me comments on "In for a Pound," although I'm resigned that it may not happen.

I want you to have a very pleasant evening. And for me to have one, too.

PS. My husband and son are playing a game called "Tickle Tongue." If I didn't know Mr. Laundry, I might find that disturbing.

I want you to have a pleasant evening as well. You can do it.

People seem to not be around lately, comments-wise, in both fandoms and in non-fandom posts too. It's not your story (hot hot). What's up with that?

I don't know what's up with it. A lot of House fans seem to be into Torchwood/Who now. Maybe House has gotten so fanficcy that no one needs LJ?

I did have a nice evening (watched the first Replicator ep from SGA) so YAY one want achieved!

Nobody left me comments on my House fic, "Iatroeco-oxyglossophilia", except one asking me what the title meant, and when I explained it, I'm not sure that person read the fic itself, just the title, seeing as that was all that was commented on. :(

It's especially hard for new writers to get comments. : (

Hi Dee!

I read In For a Pound. I apologize for not commenting. (feels guilty) I enjoyed the story and found it fun, but I'm just not much of a Shepperd/McKay fan. Now Jack and Daniel . . .oh can you imagine what Wilson would do with Daniel's neediness and abandonment issues?! And House with his military authority issues?

Anyway, I bow to your skill as a writer and shipper.

JB

Hi JB! I can see if you're not a McKay/Sheppard fan how the story wouldn't work for you. I've seen maybe one episode of SG-1, so I didn't know Daniel was needy... ooh, Wilson would be all over that, wouldn't he?

I've written House interacting with Sheppard a few times now, and every time I want to bring up House's deep conflict with another military pilot named John but it hasn't seemed to fit in. Some day!

Thank you so much.

Wanting to know who remixed me, and what they would do, was pretty much my biggest reason for joining Remix in the first place.

I know! I barely knew [livejournal.com profile] roga at all before last year's remix, and she did such a great job, I was happy to be able to add her to my f-list after. ♥

It is official. "In for a Pound" has made me start reading SGA fic. It is all your fault that my housework will now go to hell. :)

Heh heh heh. My evil plot is revealed!

Seriously, there are some great writers in SGA. Some of the "classic" H/W writers are working in SGA today, and... yum. And yay.

Go read [livejournal.com profile] perspi's SGA fics because they are awesome! [livejournal.com profile] nightdog_barks's are great too; [livejournal.com profile] perspi has simply written more. : )

YES. I agree that "In for a Pound" deserves SCADS of comments.

Awww, thank you. I'm wondering if maybe people aren't used to the archive format where you can't see comments until you click. I love reading the fics on the Big Bang site (because it's nice, and pretty, and all fits on one page, and the art's right there) but having the comments right there (on LJ) maybe provides a reminder/incentive to provide a remark. I dunno.

I ♥ you, by the way!

Yes. All of those things. <3
Re: in for a pound - I thought it was fabulous, but I couldn't figure out how to leave comments using my damn smartphone (which I was reading it on at about 4:30AM). I loved the Sheppard/House sparring scene the best, I think. <3
Re: remix - OMG I desperately want to know who did mine.
Re: hair dye ... House and hair dye and Wilson could be a very, very dangerous combination. although Wilson could find out if blondes really do have more fun or not.
Re: dishes - oh god, do I ever hear you on that. <3
I hope the wee Laundrys behave as well as they possibly can and I hope they go to sleep without being irritating about it, because I don't know if it's an issue with yours, but it sure as heck is with mine. *laugh*
And Re: Mr. Laundry - this just confirms that he and [livejournal.com profile] tallin would get along scarily well.

Thank you! The Sheppard/House sparring scene was added late; glad to know it worked for you. In earlier drafts, they sparred but you didn't get to actually see it.

Hair dye is a very dangerous thing. And also hilarious. I'm going to make it into a full fic. 1800 words already written, heh.

The wee Laundrys made their way to bed fine last night. Phew.

The Laundry family seems like a lovely bunch.

I think I commented on 'In For A Pound' in an email to you. I shall go to the fic's page and leave a public accolade.

Re: Dishes. I hate washing dishes more than any other household chore. I somehow managed to weasel my way out of them most of the time, but I'm not going to be able to avoid them much longer. Dishes really, really need to learn to wash themselves.

Re: In For a Pound. Still a little wobbly over that. I haven't been reading a lot of slash recently either, and that one made me want to go dig up tons of it. I think people are still trudging through Big Bang fics. At least I hope so. Mine didn't get a whole lot either. But, then again, mine was so not as hot as yours. ;)

I hope you had a pleasant evening, because it's tomorrow now :D

I did, although I am tired, because my brother is visiting, and he talks and talks and talks and talks...

Even I don't know who's got you for Remix - last year I was approached by a couple of people to beta (hello, [livejournal.com profile] roga!)but this year I've had nothing. (Mind you, if I did know, I wouldn't tell you, but I don't.)

I haven't read any of the Big Bang fics yet, not even yours on the site (rather than when I betaed) because I don't have time - my brother is going home next week, then I'll be playing catch-up. Yours is first in the queue, anyway XD

Remix: We will know soon enough! (But, OMG, ME TOO... Do you have any hopes for what story they remixed or how they remixed it? I'm secretly pulling for someone to remix Galatea from Wilson's POV)

RSL: HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. *CLINGS* IT'S OKAY

In for a Pound: I should've read it first, but after I read 'Half Life' I just stopped reading the big-bangs because I was a bit traumatized. However, I will read it. Oh, yes, I will.

I'm way behind on my RSL bday fics as well - I blame you for having such a great idea and sucking me in!

I've given up caring about comments on Big Bang and have moved on to calculating out how many prompts I can cross off on the damn 100_situations table with it...

Hello, just wandered over out of curiosity from savemoony's Appreciation Day in your honour...

Empathise on the rsl_bday thing! But by contrast I think I may be the only bigbang author who is really happy with the number of comments I got... maybe because I wrote something a bit different? (for me and for the fandom). At any rate I think it shows people are *reading* them even if they're not being v g about commenting. Because I can't believe anyone would read my rather obscure crossover before having read say yours or mer's fics.

Um, just to add that last comment was supposed to be cheerful and reassuring and generally looking on the bright side, but somehow it doesn't look like it, sorry!
