I saw a Wilson Street in Tel Aviv last week :-) Didn't have a camera, though. No idea who it was named after.

I am such a dork. I made my husband wait to get gas until we could get to this town. The store that's a member of the "Wilson COC" (which I just this minute realized is the Chamber of Commerce, a.k.a., local business alliance) is a gourmet food store and bakery. Wilson would love shopping there, I think. : )

It's not as great as having a whole city named Wilson, but the guy I buy office equipment from has the last name House, and his assistant is named Wilson.

In the case of my Wilson, it's his first name, but I didn't know his name for a long time, until House sprang for shirts embroidered with the employees' names. From the delighted grin I gave Wilson the morning he showed up with a delivery of toner while wearing his new shirt, he must have thought he looked particularly fine that day!

This Wilson is in Wilson County, too. We drove a loooooooooooooong way and counting down how long it'd be until we got to Wilson was a nice distraction while it lasted.

It was nice of Wilson to tell you about Foreman's resignation. Did you write back and say you saw it on TV? (Hee hee)

In my town we have a shop called Wilson's of Wickford that sells very expensive and preppy clothing. It's where all the local WASP's shop. Wilson could totally buy his whole wardrobe there.
