That Michael was the first episode of SGA colored my viewing of the show to a tremendous degree; given that my jumping-in point was when it was already getting pretty dark, I still wonder why nobody on Atlantis seems to be taking anything really seriously.

They have done an amazing thing. The first goal was $390. They blew through that in less than 24 hours. So it became $500 which was also achieved quickly.

$3,900 for his 39th birthday is a nice goal. $1,245 to go. The target date is March 1 to give stragglers a chance to participate.

It's a great charity doing good work. And it's a gift he'll really appreciate.
