A couple of fans had the idea to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, one of Robert Sean Leonard's favorite charities, as a tribute for his birthday, February 28.

rsl_bday_drive has details and instructions on how to donate, on the profile/user info page. As jane_hidell said, "I do believe it's something about which RSL might actually think "Huh, neat" before he goes out to buy more Vienna Fingers."

To support this effort, I'm offering custom fics to anyone who donates, at 50 words a dollar. $2 gets you a 100-word drabble; $5 gets you a 250-word ficlet; $100 gets you a 5,000-word custom fic of your very own. (Just found out minimum donation is $5)

If you've read any of my stuff, you know I'll write just about anything: slash, het, gen, any character, almost any subject*. This is your chance to get a fic written to your specifications, in the House, SGA, or Damon/Affleck fandoms.

Please give to support a great charity, and to honor a great dork. : )

If you "join the team" and create a profile at BC/EFA, your profile shows publicly as a "member of the team" next to the thermometer. If you "make a gift" however, you remain anonymous on the public site. Us three coordinators DO receive the name and email (NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION) of everyone who contributes, including in the "Make a Gift" way.

So short answer: yes, someone can donate using "Make a Gift," not have their name publicly on the drive website, and we would be happy to confirm that we received a donation from that e-mail address.

Is there anything that you don't want to write? I can think of a couple scenarios I'd like to see you write, but I don't want to ask you to do something if it doesn't work in the canon you've created. (I'd love to read either a sequel to Unicorn Hunter, where House grows a pair and does something about the ring in his pocket; or a piece of the MFS universe, that time when Jack was 4 and they established the "knock first if the door is closed" rule, lol.)

You can ask for whatever you'd like. If it contradicted a "canon" of mine, I'd label it AU, no problem. The only thing I know for sure I won't write is an NC-17 fic for a requester who's under age 18, and any kind of pedophilia.

The scenes you mentioned amuse me, because I was already thinking about offering those specific ones to two other people who've asked for fics! Get out of my head! Hee, hee, hee.

By the way, it's the center courtyard with the pool that does it to me. It's this beautiful, peaceful setting where you can sit and look at the artwork all around you.

Amazing that this was once a private residence.
