Parents on my F-list, do you see the same problem with this toy that I do?

Maybe it's encouraging kids to pick up cute fuzzy bumblebees, which will immediately sting them? That was my guess. *g*

Yep! Also not a good idea to stick your hand in beehives either.

Yep, as Nightdog says, you want to be careful not to indicate to impressionable toddlers that they should go around grabbing bees or sticking their hands in beehives. :)

LOL yeah. I was so busy looking for inherent design problems that I forgot about concept problems.

This toy should come with its own Junior Epi-Pen.

ETA that I, of course, did not need to be misled by fuzzy cute toys. I thought real bees were fuzzy and cute, all on my own, and learned my lesson The Hard Way.

This is one of the biggest problems in urban and suburban beekeeping: vandalism, both inadvertent and deliberate. The insurance is pretty hefty but definitely worth it.
