It's Dutch (s comic strip). I couldn't decide what kind of music, but electronic sounds about right.

That is incredibly awesome cover art! I even like the band name, in an ironic, post-modern kind of way.

Dutch, eh? Uh. It's kinda embarrassing that I didn't notice since I didn't grew up that far from the Netherlands and Fokke written a bit differently (with V) is also a surname here. But I didn't even think about it being surnames...

You could be right there: it's so incredibly trite and boring, its nearly cool again ^_^
I've decided my band is doing post-modern emo!Rock with Dance-influences and a certain kink-factor in the lyrics. Their lead singer is a bitchy, moody, depressed, a bit androgynous looking woman who compulsively changes her hairstyles. "Manalapan Township" count "Garbage" among their inspirations. They're indie and if they ever get successful a good deal of their old fans will immediately accuse them of having sold out to become commercialized mainstream crap and earn the big bucks!
