MY SHAMEFUL HET SECRET:
I'm kind of shipping Plastic Surgeon/Cutthroat Bitch.
"I agree with the little man"
"Shiksas are only for practice"
"Two minutes and some anti-nausea meds, and I'd take you up on it."
My shameful gen secret is that I forget to cut sometimes.

Date: 2007-11-07 11:42 am (UTC)obsess overlike most which in this case means House himself; I might like others but never enough to focus on a pairing fic not involving House and only occasionally for gen pieces) instead of being a character-focused gal I'd ship them too! There's just something there...I kinda adore CTB (despite the fact that I'd hate her in RL and wouldn't want to work within 100meters of her) because she's just so unabashedly blatant and unapologetic about her ruthlessness: never trying to lie about what she's done/doing or hiding or downplaying it. When she's called on it she stands by it. She's not hiding what she is and how she operates at all (compare James "never admit to anything or apologize when you're caught" Wilson, the master of relativism, rationalizations and non-selfish "for your own good!" reasons for his schemes, as the complete opposite!).
Also she's obviously willing to learn from House. Aside from the medical stuff: you could practically see her taking notes when he critiqued some of her ploys ^_^ I find that somehow endearing. And the shows of nervs and insecurity she has make her more than a cardboard bitch.
I found PS a bit shallow but I do like him most from the men now that Henry/ROF is gone: it's his dry manner I think.

They do have an interesting dynamic, especially since I still see an older Stephen Carell everytime I look at Plastic Surgeon.
I'm starting to have fun with the game and not crazy about CIA chick moving in and taking one of the spots.
