OK, rest of reply to your comment. Yeah, Wilson was perplexed by the forgiveness, too, and on reflection House letting go of the anger is too abrupt. (He is exerting some control over the situation by surveilling Wilson closely, and that won't go away anytime soon.) My only excuse is that House has figured out by this point that he needs Wilson desperately and kicking him to the curb is not much of an option. But he won't let it happen again, hence the threat (promise) that future cheating will result in disaster for both of them.
