Festivids 2023-24 Themes

deelaundryAt a watch party, and so far the themes we've identified for Festivids this year are: thighs, cats, and bears, ETA: and #teamwhale (Christine totally counts as a whale by the way) and girls/women with swords. Will update this post as more become apparent.
Next point: The Festivids vids about Moby Dick are way more awesome than the book because they pull out and explore the interesting themes without the sexism, self-absorption, racism, and boring droning details of the book.
Next point: I have decided some sources are "experience the canon through vids" sources for me. Example- Wheel of Time. Not that it's bad, just that the vids are pretty awesome and I can save time. <3 <3 <3
