2022: Looking Forward

A final goodbye to 2021. You were not as bad as 2020. There, I said something nice.
Gratitudes for my life today:
1. Still like my job! Both the work itself and that I never work more than 40 hours per week and that I get to take days off guilt-free.
2. Have read a nonzero number of books over the past two months.
3. Still writing! One WIP I am posting as I go, and many other ideas.
4. Got to see
bironic in person in 2021 for longer than a lunch!!
5. I am reasonably consistently using my bullet journal to write down important things.
Extra: Hardly ever think of douchecanoe. Helps SO MUCH that he's banned from Twitter.
Things I would like to do in 2022:
- Go to at least one in-person fan brunch. Fingers crossed!*
- Take a trip to do something fannish. Maybe ConFab in Chicago in October?*
- See a play with RSL in it.* RSL will have to take the step of being in a play within reasonable travel distance from my home. The Kennedy Center is a great venue. Saw John Oliver there and it was awesome.
- Make my LJ Favorites into a real rec list, with current links.
*These are all completely contingent on COVID, but this is a "would like to" list. Maybe I can't/won't, but I would like to.
