That was beautiful. I have a lump in my throat. To think of them together, forever, in such a--well, it's not heaven, but it doesn't have to be. It's simply enough. And the sense of all-pervading loss was heartbreaking. Thank you for finding and posting this.

Thank you. When writing this, I thought a lot about House being an atheist -- and I decided God didn't care. And that, faced with the immutable fact of God's existence, House would accept it as he accepts gravity working.
