Not enough "ugh"s in the world
Jan. 6th, 2010 01:33 pmOK, I'm the first to admit that when it comes to sex I'm a fantasy gal. Fantasies are good and fun. Sex is about the mind, in addition to the body.
But this is just so freakin' sterile, in addition to reducing women from whole people to -- not even "just a body," but a projected image of a body. Ugh.
Sleep With Virtual Women At Hard Rock Vegas
January 5, 2010
A lot of eyebrow-raising stuff has been known to go down at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. But would you believe guests at this Sin City party haven can now sleep with virtual women and play billiards on a table of flames? It’s true, sort of, thanks to the wonders of modern technology.
The hotel’s newly opened HRH Towers has some specialty penthouses that put some high-resolution video displays to some pretty unique (and awesome) uses. Hard Rock and architect Mark Zeff have teamed up with Obscura Digital to combine technology and design, creating a series of large-scale immersive environments, holographic projections and laser images.
First, let’s look at The Provocateur Suite, which uses sensors to detect when someone lies on the bed, immediately producing silloutte images of women elsewhere on the bed. Ever wanted to snuggle with light? Here’s your chance!
