corleones. Great setting of tone (wistful, complicated, not entirely happy) and interesting turns of phrase. There are a few spelling mistakes, but the fic is worth ignoring those. The first paragraph includes a passage where Wilson calls House "the curse" but keep reading and you'll see that the fic is not anti-House. Just complicated them, in all their glory.
