1) If you could be either a fish or a bird, which would you be, and why?

A bird, because living underwater sounds claustrophobic to me. I suppose it isn't for the fish, but that's how I'm feeling today. :)

2) Would you rather it be 10 degrees too hot or 10 degrees too cold? (Does your answer change if that’s indoors or outdoors?)

They both are more unpleasant than I want to deal with, but I'd have to say too cold. When I get too hot, I get Hulk-levels of angry. Not good.

3) What is the best thing that happened to you today?

Best thing on Friday: Had a work meeting outside in the shade.
Best thing today: Met up with some fun people, and got to explain something to them. I adore explaining things to people, providing knowledge that reduces confusion or makes someone's life easier.

4) Is youth wasted on the young? (Follow-up: are you old or young?)

I don't think life and energy are wasted on anyone, so would have to say no to this. This question made me think of a great word: insouciant, which means effortless, without concern. "He’s long and lean, supple, with the insouciant potency of youth."


5) Pasta salad or potato salad?

Pasta salad, because potato salad is a huge NO for me. Just can't eat it. No matter how good the recipe, how skilled the cook -- I can't do it.
