Real life: Week Without Violence

The YWCA in the US has designated Oct. 18 - Oct. 24 as their annual Week Without Violence. It's a week for people to learn more about violence against women, self-protection, and how to take action to stop this in our communities.

I am fortunate enough to feel safe... most of the time. There are millions if not billions of women who have learned to live with ongoing fear. That is not right.
