So,
queenzulu was saying that established-relationship House/Wilson in which all is roses and happy-ever-after isn't really her thing, and
sabinelagrande posted a Sheppard/McKay ficlet that doesn't even have sex in it but is HOT, and
jane_hidell said she's working on a fic that's taking a lot out of her, and someone was kind enough to ask where "In for a Pound" is (I will be emailing it to that person later today), and it all got me thinking.
I kind of want to write a sequel to "In for a Pound" in which Sheppard shows up at House's office unexpectedly and, after tossing out the fellows, they sit for a talk. Sheppard invites House and Wilson to his upcoming wedding to McKay up in Vancouver. House says he's not sure if they can make it, because he and Wilson are going through a rough spot in their relationship, and Sheppard's all, "Shit! You can't be having problems; the two of you are Rodney's and my model for how a successful gay relationship works," and House laughs in his face for a full minute.
Then he asks where McKay is, and Sheppard says, "Telling James about our engagement," and House rolls his office chair backward to look across the balcony into Wilson's office.
Where Wilson and McKay are making out.
I'm not sure how the whole thing ends.
