[livejournal.com profile] pwcorgigirl had this wonderful idea to celebrate OCs. And because I love to talk about my self writing, here are a whole bunch of mine:

Of course, there's Jack Wilson, whom I love so much I wrote over 50,000 words about him (My Fathers' Son, Keeper (Agnates in Elysium), and various midquels), along with his friends Mary, Josh, Teddy, and Leo.

The poker guys from House v God are actually the show's characters, but in Why Dr. House Cancelled Poker Night I expanded greatly on their backstories.

Swing for the Fences and The Closer (CL) feature Wilson's new fling Chris and House's old college classmate Don Thompson and his wife Susan.

Shiksa and its Sequel: Rebecca, a caring green-eyed young woman Julie Wilson meets on a lonely Christmas Eve

In Resolution, House decides he needs to meet some new people and finds Gay Mensa: Lawrence, Dinky, Alfred, Harry, and Rebecca (the token lesbian straight woman).

Itching introduced the horrible Chuck (nee Francis), Larry, and Todd, who reappeared in Senseless (which also included family therapist Sylvia Reder).

Commitment has a passel of OCs: Darlene, the hotel clerk who reminds Wilson of his mother; Kay Saltzman, head of neuropsych at a nearby hospital; Wilson's assistant Melissa; Wilson's younger brother, Seth, and important mentions of his older brother, David.

In Arureos (Greek for Rat), Wilson got a friend for Steve McQueen: Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez, known as "The Rat" (but his Mama called him Whiskers).

In Crash I had to round out a Pampered Chef party, so we had Dana, the brave new nurse, and Sharon, the sonographer who cheated on Brenda with Wilson and was SHOCKED to find him doing the same.

The End of the Interview contained my first friend insert, with the lovely Ms. Jinn, and also the not-so-lovely Mme. Frost.

Second Petition had the sadly forgotten Laura Rhodes, whom I will finally admit was a self-insert.

My very first fic, That Time Cameron Had Mono, had my very first OC: Jenny Wilson, Wilson's first wife. Jenny reappears in Hello, Godot along with Wilson's second wife. I thoroughly enjoyed naming her Joanie, because the thought of Wilson picking three wives with similar sounding names to his (Jimmy + Julie, Jenny, & Joanie) made me laugh. On a more somber note, House seeks out Wilson's first wife, here named Constance, for some advice in Petition.

Wilson's parents are important players in Domestic (as Evelyn and Joe) and Hello, Godot (unnamed). Wilson's mother also appears in My Fathers' Son, Thirteen in 1982, and is the key player in Hi, Mom. There she was apparently so memorable that [livejournal.com profile] roga needed to explain her in the remix Hi, Ma (who features an even better OC: Judy, Wilson's grandmother).

Wilson's brothers get mentioned a lot but are especially prominent in Snowglobe (David, Wilson's big brother) and Covenant (John, Wilson's older brother, as well as Cuddy's father Franklin).

Kids (other than Jack):
- Hi, Anna: Anna, the credit for whose creation I share with [livejournal.com profile] roga (who also introduced Anna's unnamed but very awesome fiance)
- Family Way: Jacob and Michelle
- Lost and Found: Wilson's daughter Cassandra (and Cassandra's mom Gina)
- After the Fourth Wedding: House's daughter, Liz, and Wilson's daughter, Leah

Physicians:
- The Drop of Water: Jean Steiner, head of psychiatry
- Green: Charlie Lutz, orthopedics attending
- Locked Up and Set Free: Dean Dean, senior attending in cardiology (and Donovan, the ex-con)
- Function: McIntosh and Singh, new fellows in House's department

Others:
- Just Short of a Bottle of Maker’s Mark and a Shotgun: Glen, the chameleon Best Buy employee
- Bachelor Party: Jazmin the stripper, who's not book-smart but is a lot of fun
- Egoiste for Men: the unnamed alien who lost his sex spray and then offered pain relief at too high a price
- Goes the Neighborhood: Fake-out toddler Timothy and next-door neighbor Paul
- Theater 3: Armand, the oily theater owner
- Ass: Tritter's partner, Chris Toby Keller
