I've decided:  House and Wilson are like cake and frosting, respectively.

People don't say, "I want some frosting"; they say, "I want a piece of cake."  And some people don't even like frosting on their cake -- they prefer their cake plain, or with a glaze, or a fruit topping.

Me, I follow the crowd and say, "I want cake," and when I get some, that first bite with both is always amazing.  They're just so good together.

But really I'm in it for the frosting.  Sometimes I don't eat all of the cake part, but I always eat the frosting and savor every bit.  When no one's looking, I steal more frosting off the serving tray.  There are even those secret evenings alone, when I give in to my heart's desire and have frosting straight from the can.  It's a little shameful, because everyone knows you're only supposed to have frosting on cake (or the occasional cookie).  I just can't resist, though -- it gives me too much bliss.
