May not be a unique thought

Ausiello had a very, very vague spoiler -- to the degree of "The script is very good," although that's not what was said -- for an upcoming episode of House, and it got me thinking.

Ausielllo said he heard that RSL "should start writing his Emmy speech now" for a specific future episode. If RSL couldn't even get a nomination for "Wilson's Heart," then what could be so dramatic and intense as to get him noticed by Emmy voters? Hm.

This is pure speculation, but what if, guys, what if they have RSL play Danny Wilson in an episode? O_O So many possibilities.

Please don't mention any other spoilers for episodes after 6-4 (the one from Mon 10/5 in the US) in comments.

In the US you have to finish a four-year undergrad degree before med school... but then again, Wilson went to a Canadian university for undergrad. Maybe he did two years undergrad, got into Canadian med school and then transferred to US med school. Or he finished high school slightly early and then took summer/extra classes so he could finish his bachelor's in three years.

You know, they never explained House's "Huh" after Wilson said he didn't have much free time in med school. Maybe House had assumed Wilson had finished college early because of innate brilliance instead of hard work and intelligence.

Perhaps he felt driven to succeed in a family where most (or even all) of the attention was focused on "the damaged brother"? Maybe that's how he ended up as a department head -- he needed to be recognized and acknowledged as some kind of success because it was something he'd never gotten growing up.

Or, y'know, not. *g*
