There's an episode where it's mentioned (by House?) that Wilson has dinner with Cuddy on ... Tuesdays? Wednesdays? Some night of the week. She invites him to Rachel's brit bat (the episode where we get to see him and Chase wearing yarmulkes). She apparently holds his job open after he resigns following Amber's death. He apparently feels welcome to gift Rachel with a gigantic plush duckie.
