The whole idea of a surprise wedding is just so silly, that I had to take it in a crack!fic direction. Dream sequence, that fits. Although on a good day, House might just be insane enough to set up all the pranks that are hints to Wilson... And I have some fondness for the final part of the House & Cuddy conversation, because I do think House is very much in his own head, and would be likely to just run with his own idea (in this case, getting married to Wilson) without bothering to check if others are going to go along. (The ending of "My Favorite Year" is so true to me, because it's a similar theme of House planning things out in his own head.)
